 SUSTAINABLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS

We purchase our ingredients from businesses that offer better quality products in sustainable ways wherever possible. We use non-GMO and cruelty-free ingredients that are free from anything unnatural. We source our ingredients from businesses that have Fair Trade arrangements with farmer partners as much as possible. Please check the specific ingredient list on each cookie page.

 ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

We put together our packaging carefully to achieve a fine balance of joy and freshness delivered to you in a sustainable way. Our packaging is compostable and/or recyclable, and most is made with recycled materials.

Shipping Tape is made from 100% recycled FSC*-certified acid-free paper, printed using soy-based inks. Also, the tape adhesive is water-activated and non-toxic, meaning that the surface is not coated in wax. These factors make the shipping tape recyclable and compostable.

Kraft Box is the most eco-friendly option for shipping boxes. Our boxes are unbleached, reusable, compostable and recyclable.

Logo and Cookie Stickers are printed on FSC*-certified, acid-free paper with soy-based inks. The adhesive is non-toxic, so the sticker is compostable and recyclable.

Tissue Paper is made with FSC*-certified acid-free paper, printed using soy-based inks. It is made from recycled materials and 100% compostable and recyclable!

Card Inserts, both Thank-You Card and Custom Note Card, are made from 100% recycled FSC*-certified paper. Unlike many cards with a silicone or plastic coating, these are uncoated and printed with soy-based inks, which makes them compostable and recyclable.

Clear Cookie Bag is made from 90% FSC*-certified sustainable wood cellulose fibers which makes it the most sustainable packaging alternative to date to petroleum-based plastic. It is vegan, non-GMO, and does not contain harmful chemicals such bisphenol (including BPA and over a dozen other derivatives), PFAS, or phthalates.

*FSC or Forest Stewardship Council certifies that the paper products are sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. The FSC Principles and Criteria provide a foundation for all forest management standards globally, including the FSC US National Standard.
